When is Witney Feast held?

Witney Feast takes place for two or three days following the first Sunday after 8th September, the day of the annual parish feast. For example, in 2007 it will take place on Monday 10th and Tuesday 11th September.

The fair first took place in 1243 and in the Middle Ages the fair was a place for Witney-dwellers to trade cattle, pigs, horses and cheese.
